Winefest Calgary

The 2012 Winefest Calgary was a delicious success, where attendees were afforded the opportunity to sample over 230 local and international wines, port, sparkling and dessert wines from fifteen of the world's most celebrated wine regions!

Winefest allows the opportunity to 'try before you buy' within a casually refined atmosphere - every sip and sample is included in the ticket price. At Winefest, wine experts are available to share their knowledge as consumers taste their way from booth to booth, suggesting tasting notes while educating the palate and senses. Stop by the on-site Liquor Depot store to purchase favourite finds to enjoy at home. Savour a delicious selection of hors d'oeuvres in a relaxed, yet fun atmosphere. Also included in ticket prices is a Tasting Notebook and complimentary wine glass. Tickets sell-out quickly, so stay tuned for when tickets go on sale next year!

Winefest Calgary Menu

Winefest is a playground for the palate, where attendees had the chance to sample a delicious array of wines. View a list of wineries that participated in Winefest Calgary 2012.

To accompany the wine, Stampede Park catered the event with a sample of palette pleasing hors d’oeuvres. Check out the 2012 Stampede Catering Menu. In addition, Springbank Cheese and Ambrosia Apples provided a variety of cheese and apple selections, alongside a selection of olives, antipasto and crackers from Nefiss Lezizz and Terra International Food Inc. So Choklat ensured the night ended on a sweet note with an assortment of chocolates.

Winefest is an all-inclusive event. In 2012, tickets included wine sampling and a variety of delicious hors d'oeuvres. Upon arrival, guests also received a complimentary Riedel wine glass and a tasting notebook! Please note that tickets are valid for one session only.

Reminders

• We recommend that you arrive to Winefest 15-30 minutes prior to the tasting session to ensure you allow enough time for your ticket to be scanned and to pick up your tasting glass.
• There is no dress code for Winefest, however we anticipate that most people will dress as they would when going out for dinner or an evening out with friends.
• Please note that Winefest is an adult-only event. All attendees must be legal drinking age. Minors (including infants) are not permitted to attend Winefest.
